Tayside Door Factory, a member of The British Woodworking Federation, was founded in 1991 by John Wales, who has extensive knowledge of the building trade in Scotland. Since 1991 the Company has gone from strength to strength and in 2005 moved from Dundee to a new factory in Arbroath. Clients include major building contractors such as Balfour Beatty, Muirfield (Contracts) Ltd, Forman Construction, J Smart & Co PLC, Hall & Tawse (Mansell), Algo and many more.

Tayside Door Factory has supplied manufactured joinery products for many prestigious projects including Stobbo Castle, The Royal College of Physicians in Glasgow, Yorkhill Children's' Hospital, Bannatyne Health & Fitness Centres and Dollar Academy.

In additional to manufacturing specialist joinery products to main contractors and the trade, Tayside Door Factory also supplies direct to the public. We can manufacture doors, windows, screens, stairs, in fact practically anything which can be made from timber. Our experienced team of joiners not only allow us to produce high quality joinery products but ensure a hassle free installation service to the public. To encompass the whole service we have a state-of-the-art spray booth on site allowing us to factory finish our products guaranteeing a superb end product.

In 2005 Tayside Door Factory took the progressive step of moving to a new 10,000 square feet custom designed factory in Elliot Industrial Estate,  Arbroath. New state-of-the-art woodworking machinery has been installed to ensure we can provide all our customers with the standard of product and service they have become accustomed to from Tayside Door Factory over the years. Our new extensive showroom provides the facility for customers to see and touch the products enhancing the retail experience and giving customers the piece of mind they deserve.
